Our Reactive Dog Class Level 1: Foundations is all about giving you the foundational knowledge and skills you need to start your training off right with your dog-reactive dog. Once you’ve completed this course, you’ll be ready to start in-person work and set you and your dog up for success.

After completing Level 1: Foundations, you’ll be ready for Level 2 Virtual class or in-person private lessons to address your dog’s reactivity directly.
FAQs:
Will this help my dog who doesn’t like strangers? Or who gets in fights with our other dog at home?
This class is designed for dogs who react to other dogs, people, bicycles, or similar triggers while on walks.
If your dog struggles with a different behavior issue (such as fear of strangers entering the home, conflict between dogs in the same home, resource guarding, sound sensitivity, etc), please go straight to private lessons!
Why is this class virtual? Why can’t we do in-person so you can see what my dog does when he reacts?
We believe you! Our goal is actually to prevent recreating the behaviors we want to change. Instead, we’ll teach you effective skills from home where your dog can learn comfortably.
Even if we started with private lessons, we’d need to give you all this information. This virtual class is an affordable, low-stress way to prepare both you and your dog for future training.
Does my dog need to be with me during virtual class time?
Yes! After the first session, plan to have your dog with you. You'll practice skills live with real-time feedback from your instructor.
Will my dog’s reactivity be fixed by the end of this class?
Probably not! This class is designed to give you the essential skills to begin addressing reactivity. Our focus is on creating lasting change, not quick fixes, so you and your dog can build sustainable skills together.
