Advanced Manners & Canine Good Citizen (North)

This class focuses on working on behaviors with more distractions and fading the use of food rewards. We will also break down the skills you need to pass the CGC evaluation. Whether you want to advance your dog's manners skills, prepare for therapy dog work, or prep for the CGC, this class can help!

Prerequisites: Previous graduation from an intermediate level manners/obedience group class required.

*This is a 6-week course over set dates. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer makeup classes for this course.

*NOTE: if your dog has significant fear-based aggression/reactivity toward strangers or dogs, or is extremely uncomfortable in new environments, this group class might not be the best option for you. We reserve the right to remove a dog from class if the situation seems detrimental/unsafe for that dog or other dogs/people in class, and encourage you to set up a private consultation if you're unsure whether class would be a good fit.

Cancellation Policy:

Because this class is a “series” with fixed start and end dates, we are unable to offer makeup classes. If you will miss a date within the series, we are happy to offer a 30 min private lesson at our facility at a reduced rate (a Class Makeup Private, $45) to cover any information you missed!

Also because of the fixed dates for series classes, our 24-hr cancellation policy applies to the first session of class only. 

If you cancel your class series at least 24 hours prior to the first class, we are happy to transfer your credits or refund you for the class. If you decide not to finish the series after the first session, we are unable to fill your spot and allow another pup to join. 

For this reason, if you decide not to complete the series after the class has begun, we reserve the right to refuse refunds entirely or charge a $35 cancellation fee if we will be transferring your remaining balance to a different class or training option.
